Swanpool Park Print
Further artwork is granted for Swanpool Park so local artist sells artwork to fund it.
This painting is influence by the Cubist and Vortism movement mixed in with the principles and practice of Dazzle Camouflage. I originally experimented with this concept when commissioned to paint a large unused public building in a local park. The aim was not to highlight the building but to artistically blend it in to it surroundings. After a great deal of public disscution i am proud in the feeling that the experiment worked.
Local Multi media artist Cal has been granted permission from Dudley parks department to paint artwork on the shelter at Swanpool park. Cal has personally funded and painted the shelter on two previous occasions but just green to cover up the vandalism. Himself along with volunteers also repainted the children’s play area equipment. The shelter is due to be painted with a modern concept that is both easy on the eye but viable to maintain.
Although the Dudley Parks department have granted permission and given Cal there full support in his artistic ambitions they are unable to fund the project. So Cal has decided to fund the project himself by selling prints of artwork inspired by the existing painting at Swanpool park.
Money from sales of this Print will be put towards funding further painting to be done at the park.
Original artwork, spray paint on canvas.
Each print is signed on 350gm high quality paper and with free delivery. Limited to 25 prints.
